01 / The project

An anniversary edition, in print and online.

2023-24 marked the 30th anniversary of the Land Registry Trading Fund. The year’s annual report carries a special anniversary chapter on its key milestones, historic land records and the recollections of long-serving staff, alongside the usual business review, governance reporting and financial statements.

Miracle handled the report from end to end: new photography, the layout of the full report, the printed edition and a website that presents the report in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

02 / Photography

Snapshots of our city.

Fishing port hidden in the city: Ma Wan Chung Village.

The anniversary chapter includes “Snapshots of our City: A Photographic Celebration”, a series of Hong Kong scenes that sit between the report’s chapters. Each photograph is paired with a short caption and location, from the fishing port at Ma Wan Chung Village to the reflections along the Tuen Mun River and the gardens of Hong Kong Park.

Illustrated silhouettes of people cycling, fishing and reading are layered over the photographs, linking the land and buildings the Registry records with the everyday life of the city.

03 / Layout & website

Every chapter, one click away.

Each chapter of the report has its own section on the website, with a lead photograph, a short introduction and a link to the chapter PDF. Readers can download any chapter or the full report, switch between three languages and share the report from any page.

The same colour palette, hand-lettered chapter titles and decorative sparkles carry from the printed pages to the website, so the two editions feel like one publication.
