Oxfam Hong Kong
An online shop for Oxfam Hong Kong where supporters buy Unwrapped gift cards and donate in one simple journey, built when most of the charity's transactions had already moved online.
Oxfam is a confederation of 21 organisations working to end poverty. Oxfam Hong Kong needed an online shop for its Unwrapped gift cards that also accepted donations, so supporters no longer had to visit a counter.
More than 80% of the charity's transactions were already online, so the goal was a more engaging shopping experience, not just a website with a donate button.
Miracle delivered the UX, UI, e-commerce development, hosting and maintenance. Supporters browse gift cards, place orders, track them and donate in one journey, and the shop kept running 24/7 when physical stores were limited during COVID-19.
The live store at eshop.oxfam.org.hk is now the charity's digital shop and donation desk, with content the team can update for each new campaign.
