How to make custom software work with the systems you already use

A new portal only pays off when it fits into the reports, CRM and sales tools your team already relies on. Here is the approach we use on live projects.

How to make custom software work with the systems you already use

Custom software usually fails where it meets existing systems. A shiny new portal that ignores how reports, tickets and payments already move will create more work, not less. That is why Miracle treats integration as part of the product from day one.

For STS, we mapped every audit, inspection and advisory task before designing a single screen. Reports, project records and CRM tasks now live in one React, Node.js and TypeScript portal, so the team no longer switches between email and spreadsheets.

For SGS TIC Mall, the link is commercial. Clients buy testing, inspection and certification services through a WooCommerce marketplace, and CRM makes sure no enquiry is lost after checkout.

Both projects followed the same steps: understand how work flows today, design around the people who use the system, then build the APIs and commerce they need. If you are planning a portal or online service on top of existing processes, start by mapping those processes first.
